Title: Lost Gated Verb on DL1608
Post by: prosoundco guy on April 27, 2013, 10:32:15 PM
Just got my DL a few days ago. I have been playing with the app for a few weeks. I'm hoping it will be a reliable substitute for my SL24.4.2 for smaller club gigs.  Something weird happened: I lost the gated verb. All the other verbs work, either from the drop down window or the preset list EXCEPT the gated verb. Tried force close, relaunch app, power off and on board, router. All verbs OK, gated verb,no. Any suggestions? Anyone have this problem?
I did the firmware update on first power up, and have MF 1.4.
Also did anyone notice if you double tap any of the pans, it will auto center itself?!

Are the signal strong enough to open the Gate ?

Apparently not!  Was just playing some CD s through it. The gates a bit tighter than what I'm used to, but that's why I'm playing with the board before a show next week.

While a gated 'verb is nice on snare I can't imagine ever using it when we only have one 'verb available :( .

I use a gated verb on snare and toms, and an outboard Lexicon for vox verb and doubling via Aux 5. Haven't gotten a chance to use the DL' on drums yet, but the SL24's sound great.
