Title: Question about copying channels
Post by: ToH2002 on March 03, 2016, 11:03:28 AM
Just busy re-organizing one of my shows (new instruments, need to re-organize channels), and while copying a number of channels further down the channel list to make space for one, I found that copying a channel does NOT copy channel gain, view group, mute group, vca assignment or send levels. This makes it very cumbersome to re-organize the mix. Is there something I am missing?

Or could this become a feature im MF 4.1 --> beno? Maybe selectable in settings (copy complete channel on/off)=

Cheers,

Torsten

I found that out also when copying channels. Hopefully that along with drag and drop to rearrange channels is on a future update.

I have talked to Beno about this numerous times and the need to copy an entire channel, and I mean everything, including mix levels etc.
I am hopeful that this will be included in MF5 when it comes out.

In your case, it would probably be better to have a drag-and-drop interface that would allow us to rearrange channels. That's been on my wish list for a while.

Definitely dragging a channel to a new location would be a huge plus.

dragging would be wonderful,
I have also asked for the channel number to be a little bigger and hopefully that will be implemented too in MF5.
