Title: FAQ: iPad Cases
Post by: RoadRanger on March 15, 2013, 03:03:31 PM
On the recommendation of someone on the former Mackie forum I bought matching cases for my iPad 2 and iPad Mini from here:
http://www.griffintechnology.com/survivor
I used this code to get 15% off:
SAVINGS15

I was uncomfortable with carrying my "naked" iPads around a venue and figured one would get dropped, knocked off a table, or spilled on sooner or later :( . When I first installed the rather bulky cases the increase in size put me off but in use I'm very pleased with them. The built-in stands work great on a table too!

Another recommendation I received was for these guys:

I went with the Griffin Survivor because it was a bit less money and offers MIL-spec protection and beer-proofness  8) .

I went with the Ballistic Tough Jacket. Its got a decent amount of protection and you can get it delivered for 33 bucks from Amazon, probably a bit less if you really search around.

Just received this one from Ebay, waterproof, small as possible and can hang around your neck. Just what i was looking for...seems pretty good.
