Title: Running guitar direct into DL1608 - Tips Tricks
Post by: nedorama on September 04, 2020, 05:32:00 PM
Have a garage gig tomorrow where I'm using a Roland KC500 keyboard amp as a vocal PA, and was thinking that for playing guitar, instead of bringing another amp, what have people found worked using your DL series as a substitute amp?

I can bring pedals, but if there's an EQ curve that seems to work for folks, or inter-app guitar plugins, I'm all ears.

Only inputs would be guitar and a vocal mic.

Running latest 5.2 version on an iPad Air 2 on iOS13.7. I have Garageband installed.

FYI - I'm NOT looking for advice that a real amp will sound better - I know that and have several vintage handwired Fenders that sound great - just trying to take the least amount of gear to a gig...

thanks!

A DI box might come in handy for the Guitar pickup (high impedance).
