I can't assign a subgroup to a matrix
can any of you? in fact, I can't see how to assign any outputs to any of the matrix outs.

All subgroups lr and auxes are born member of the matrix , select M1 in multichannel view

born of matrix?

When we set up and use a matrix, we select the volume of the various available audio outputs of the console.
I should be able to assign groups, aux sends, and L,R main to a matrix.

Tell me where you see the volumes of these outputs.

Am I missing something here.  Aren't matrix's only available on the DL32R?  I see M1-M4 in overview, but I can't select it.  Are you all working with matrix's in DL32R demo mode?

Based on Dan's recent post (the one where he shows off his new DL32R) I'd say you are right in guessing he was working in 32R demo made.

Damn...I was hoping you had discovered a way to do a matrix on the 1608  :-[
