A while ago I did an autopsy on the DL but forgot to post the Beartooth paddle board pinouts so here they are:
Beartooth small pad connection
J1 30 pin Apple # scheme DL1608 connector Signal Description
Left(30) to right (1) with contacts on top when facing 30 pin connector.
30 J2 -1 Ground plane
29 J2-2 Ground plane
27 J2-3 USB Data +
25 J2-4 USB Data -
23 J2-5 USB +5V
21 (28k ohm to Gnd. R2) J3-1 E-SMT TP23
18 J3-2 ipad_acc_pwr
15-16 J3-3 Ground plane
13 TP1 N/C RX
12 TP3 N/C TX
11 J3-4 ipad_acc_det
7 TP2 N/C
1 J3-5 IPAD_DET
ground J3-6 Ground plane
R3 - R6 are zero ohm shunts. R1 is 120 ohm connecting the 30 pin connector shield to the ground plane on the board.
Corrected as per schematics 7/17/20
