Interesting remake of the X18 control surface. I'm not sure I like it, seems too busy. Another market test?

Yes DCA and rearrangement of channels on the control surface is there for great customization. We just need a 13-15" tablet or a magnifying glass.

This may be too early too judge, however I for one, much preferred the iPad app on what were seemingly working display models at the MG booth this past Winter NAMM in Anahiem, for it seemed to replicate the X32 environment of which many have become accustomed to.
Pics on the MG site show such, http://www.behringer.com/EN/products/X18.aspx

And so the relevance to this forum is the anticipation of other manufactures offerings into a field of one and the obvious expected comparisons.

I still find the MF 2.1 environment and corresponding DL1608 to very user friendly and functional for the applications and situations i`ve deployed.

Having played with it a bit longer there are some features I like but abandoning some form of the drop down menu, I find a bad choice. Making it similar to the iPhone OS as far as I'm concerned is not practical. Missing in both renditions was any visible record/playback means. Time will tell. No scribble strips a really bad idea.
