That would strike me as strange.  The Mac-mini has both bluetooth antennas and separate Wifi antennas.  (I've done some drive replacements on a couple of them.)   I realize that ipads aren't as sophisticated as a Mac-mini, but considering how small the mini's antennas are, you could easily put several in an ipad.  (The three antennas together don't take up a single square inch of space.) When I get some time to just wander the Internet, I'll see if anyone else has taken one that far apart.

Could be just phones. Could be BS. I know I've seen advice to turn off bluetooth to help wifi issues. I read it on the internet, so it must be true.

That would not be a resource bottleneck, I meant processor resources mostly iPad CPU.
