Jerrylee:
What does Musikmesse have anything to do with an app that has already been submitted to the App Store? There is no go ahead from Mackie to release it. The go ahead would be given when submitted.

My understanding is that it doesn't work that way. Once Apple approves the app Mackie still has to make it live in the app store. Mackie has to have all the docs done for it and trin their tech support folks on it. When they make it live they also have to make the docs live on their website and send out notifications and press releases. I'm guessing they need all their folks back home for all of that.

WK154:
So what does tell you? A skeleton crew and techies go to shows? Not a sign of a healthy company. Of course there is the Internet for activation! So what is their excuse?

Jerrylee:
There is no excuse. Mackie stated that the only reason it's not available yet is because new apps take longer to get approved then updates to apps. The go ahead is there, now we just have to wait. That is if Mackie has not lied again.

And yes if road rangers assumptions are correct, which I am not sure they are, then a simple email would probably be all that is needed. It's not like Mackie has to go to apples office and press an "ok" key.

How does a simple email get the docs finished and approved, the tech support folks trained, etc - especially when the Mackie crew is busy working the show :o ?
