Mono in headphones?

<< < (2/3) > >>

Peter Richter:
Unfortunately not that either.
Have had definate stereo signals such as iPad channel, music fed into two adjacent channels, panned hard L and R, and also the stereo effects sound mono.

All suggestions welcome though.

Peter Richter:
The other thing is that. The xlr outputs are working properly in stereo. Its just the headphones output that is mono.

WK154:
To be sure all internal signals (buses) are just ring buffers (one would hope) until those values are transferred to the D/A chips. It is certainly possible to send the same data to both D/A for the headphones only I just don't see any reason to change the code for just the DL806 since it should be the same for the DL1608. Does the headphone track the mains meters? Panning the input channel with lets say a 1K signal? I use a Pink stick for test.

Peter Richter:
When I pan an input signal left and right the L and R output meters show it panning.
Same if i pan the output.
The actual L and R outputs also pan but the headphones remain mono - same coming through both sides except the level is lower when panned towards one side or the other.

WK154:
Time for an exchange from Mackie.
