Title: Auxes post fader with Mackie DL32R
Post by: keproductions on October 18, 2015, 03:33:12 AM
Hi,
Is there a way to set auxes to post fade or pre fade PER CHANNEL

instead of per aux?

I want to turn down a channel and ALL AUXES ON THAT ONE CHANNEL follow suit.

Please help me. Or should I put this in the Version 4 update request list?

In my case I want vocals to be post-fader into the reverb but things like horns, snare, and drum OH pre-fader as those are often turned completely off in the mains but I still want them full on into the reverb to feed the mains. I've been making do with having the reverb sends all pre-fader. Of course, a better solution is to use that awesome second reverb that Mackie is going to be giving us "RealSoonNow(tm)" ;) .

RoadRanger, if you have essentially have no dry signal to the mains from those channels, but want them post fade, have you tried just unselecting the LR routing then using the fader as normal?

I want to leave open the option of having a little dry in the main if needed.

Then route them to a sub group if needed in the main u can raise the subgroup but got all the reverb from the channelfader
