Title: Lock View Group A
Post by: Alex H on April 23, 2018, 06:31:19 PM
Hi
Is it possible to lock a View Group?  I have set up a number of services to the defaults we need, and am fed up with people changing the settings adding other channels etc. I would like to lock View Group A, and then the other users can create their own view groups if necessary.

Thanks

Alex

Mayby set up vieuw groep d or f for this and then save this .
, if somebody then changes it you can recall the settings

Hi Alex,
when I had my Allen & Heath product, I was spoiled at how you can have three different levels of "login".
If I recall it was "Administrator", "Standard" and Basic.

Even though Master Fader does not have these exact features, you could simply lock them out with the Access Limits page.

Will that work for you?

The difficult thing here with your scenario is (I'm assuming) that it is when you are not there, and that is when knob twister "busy bodies" mess with stuff.
Unfortunately, anyone with an iPad can gain access to everything if they know how to turn off the "limited access" features.

If you create a four digit password for the "access limits" page on all the iPads that are used, then they are out of luck messin with stuff.

let us know if it solves the problem.  :)
