Title: Would this work?
Post by: Ampli on August 22, 2017, 05:17:06 AM
Hi all was wondering if this would work
I was thinking of using the headphone out jack to drive a delay stack
Would this give u a delayed signal of exacly the main l/r or would the signal not as good?

I use the headphone out on my Behringer XR12 to give me two extra monitor feeds and it works fine - quality is the same as the other outputs.

RR AFAIK he has a Dl1608 and the short answer is no. Delays are only available on mains and Aux sends. Since you are looking for additional outputs I don't think you can spare an Aux for delay to solo.

The solo/headphone on the dl1608 has al delay funtion, this why i ask
Now i use a aux output, just wondering if it would be possible
Sometimes i have more subs in middle of stage and was tinking of delaying thes because the rest is standing like 2 or 3 mtr behind these subs

OK so they forgot to mention that in the manual and in which case you can use the Headphone out as a dual output but you need a Di box if you go any distance to powered speakers.
