Title: DL806 won't sync

It just stopped syncing to the iPad either directly or wirelessly. It also will not do a firmware update when I try to do that.

Tried different iPads that are fully charged. When I plug the iPad in seems to recognize it and says Blackbeard but then that word disappears.

Any ideas or tips?

Sounds like you got hacked. Did you try a forced update (paperclip routine?).

Yeah I tried the force update. Still nothing. I do switch back and forth between a 1608 and this one but never had this issue before.

If what you state is correct and  nothing was changed in the DL806 then it's time for a call to Mackie. I haven't dealt with my DL1608 for a couple of years. Last sync issue post was

Since the X-Air era three years ago I haven't looked back. If you need to send it in for service as I understand it buying a XR18 it will be cheaper.
In the future if you need help please be specific (iPad version, iOS version, MF version etc.) otherwise were throwing darts.
