Title: How to put a time stamp on Song recordings?
Post by: Lownote on November 02, 2019, 02:51:19 AM
Does anyone know how to get a time stamp on a Song title that is visible in playback on the DL32R?  (Other than labelling it before recording, that is, because many times the recording must be started quickly with no time to enter anything.)

For some reason Mackie does not display simple time stamp information when playing back multitrack USB Drive recordings on the DL32.  Unless I title a song BEFORE I start recording to a USB drive, the DL32R names songs in numeric sequence, picking the lowest available number.  (Song 23 today, Song 24 tomorrow, etc)  I must then try to identify which session a Song is from by listening to it.

Alternatively, is there a way to re-label the song on the USB drive AFTER it is recorded, either via the DL32 or on a PC/Mac?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the file naming and displaying to be lackluster =)

I end up putting the drive on a Windows box and renaming them in a way I can tell what they are.
