Title: DL1608 Master Fader channel names change on all Shows ?

i am a newbie to the DL1608 and Master Fader 5.1   I am trying to use the shows for two different bands but when i change the channel name on my current show, it changes the name on the offline show.   I must be doing something wrong.   i even did a snapshot of the current show and it still is changed on the offline show.  any help would be appreciated.

Welcome Dobrosmo. Can you provide details such as which version of MF 5.1.0 or 5.1.1 and which control surface ( iPad ,Android or PC/Mac) this is happening on?

I am sorry.  Yes i did figure it out.  I called Mackie Support and the guy was very helpful.  I did not know that when you create a new show, you are actually just creating a Folder/directory Structure.  you need to create a Snapshot to actually save the settings.  I think it is still weird that when you switch to a different show, the settings from the previous show are displayed until you load the snapshot of the new show ?  that seems to be a bug to me.

I am using Master Fader 5.1.1 (build 28532).  is there a newer version ?

I would really call it a naming flaw rather than a bug. Mackie likes to think they're inventing the wheel. In theater lingo snapshots are scenes and at a lower level are cue's (missing in MF). To bad the architects of DL's didn't consider theater as a viable market or they would have added a DMX control as well like Soundcraft or at least MIDI like Behringer. I am using it on a iPad 5th Gen that i dock in my DL1608
Actually, when i said "when creating a new Show"  i  meant to say "When i duplicate a show"
