I work in the Foxwoods Casino A/V dept., there's a pile of them on a shelf behind me.  ;D

Hi Ed! I sometimes do sound for Guy Palazzo's bands - he used to be head of production at Foxwoods a few years back. My 1604 came out of a video production studio so didn't get banged around like most.

Hey RR! Production is separate from AV, and I've only been here for a year & a half... maybe you know Josh or Everett, they're my supervisors. I don't know the Guy guy. We recently had a 1204 disappear from a DJ booth... glad I wasn't around to try to explain that one.

Even though I'm not in the Entertainment/Production departments, sometimes they call me into the Atrium to mix on the Yamaha M7CL... trippy!

Hi Ed! I sometimes do sound for Guy Palazzo's bands - he used to be head of production at Foxwoods a few years back. My 1604 came out of a video production studio so didn't get banged around like most.

After purchasing hundreds of 1604s of all vintage over the past 15+ years for the video/film editing suites I set up and supported, I found that the lack of use of 99% of the knobs & switches actually caused more damage than a relatively well exercised 1604s. And the pots that did get used didn't get moved very much or only in very limited range which contributed to premature failure. This is because the contacts get oxidized if they're not exercised on a fairly regular basis. So if I had to buy a used Mackie board (which I've found to be not such a good idea), it would one that had medium use in a clean environment. Under or well used seem to bad thing for analog Mackie boards I've found.
