So we have tried a couple of Danko Jones Songs.

These have gone over for us extremely well.
Danko Jones is completely unheard of in my area.
What are some of yours.

never heard them before. sound cool but I wouldn't put them in our set until they got some serious airplay in northeast PA

Ya it was a risk from the regular formulas, cuz nobody here in East Idaho has heard of anybody but whats only on the heavy rotation rock stations.
But it has paid off really well.
So what songs have you taken a risk with that have turned out well. That was the intentions of this thread,to find off the beaten track tunes to listen to and maybe incorperate in to what your doing.

Not exactly new...but if  a guy does "Man I feel Like a Woman"...by Shania Twain..
It transforms into a great ZZTop song!!...Try It...It will fill the dance floor ,too!

we had a few requests for burn it to the ground last night... sucky thing is I brought it up about 2 months ago and the guys shot it down. I don't like nickleback but I DO like giving the crowd what they like.
