iOS 9 has broken My Fader 2
« on: February 20, 2016, 05:40:48 PM »
And why doesn't the search allow numbers so I can search for iOS 9 or My Fader 2 >:(?

My iPhone running iOS9 and My Fader 2 no longer works, it loses half the screen immediately after starting MyF2? Any ideas (I can't find an update so does this mean that My Fader 2/Classic is now dead?).

Unfortunately it looks like its MF 4 for all iOS devices now. That can be good or bad.  One App fits all?  :-\

MF 5 will really rock  . But I kinda need a 16 channel recording I/F and am really over the two fixed FX so a $499 X18 is looking good at the moment :( .

So what are you waiting for? Buy before they discontinue the form factor. Maybe we'll also get a X-Air separate topic on this forum

Sadly the loss of MF Classic (when it happens) may well result in me selling my DL. Not having My Fader is not really a big problem TBH I haven't been using it as most of my gigs are either as sound engineer or, if I'm playing I'm still mixing from the stage. It would be nice but I have 3 x iPads now (2, 3 and mini) so t'other guys in the trio can share one for monitors. They both have iPhone 6's so My Fader to MF4 would be nice except the old iPad 2 might not be happy. I suppose I'll have to give it a go.

I'm running MF4 on my two iPad 2's and original mini no prob. Just make sure you force close everything else AND disable all app notifications.

I'll give it a try, the extra features would be nice but are not a must have for me.

Only difference is that it is now one app
Im running mf on an ipad2 sofar i didnt have any problems, mf4 works even quicker then mf3 on the old ipad2
