Forgot to say the aux output should be set to post fader so the reverb is proportional to the signal level in the channel.

Thanks for all the help.
I thought I did all was mentioned, but still has it not working.
So, I patched my aux1 to IpadL + IpadR.
Have a signal running in channel 1 routed to aux1 and its output fader to Unity.

In my AudioReverb app- what do I need to hook this up to the patched signal?

I don't see any signal coming in to Audio Reverb.
The Select music shows a menus for ITunes options. is there I need to do something to select anything?
I tried to record but I don't see nay signal coming in and so is the IPAD channel in master fader.
I tried BKGD audio - it did not help.
I tried REC and it says record, but I don't see any signal in AudioReverb -(of course Ipad channel in masterfaser has no signal).
I must be doing something basic stupid.
help me.
Thanks.

U did allow the reverb to use the mic input?

Yes. I did allow mic access.
There is mic icon in audioverb.
Should I engage that?
That does not seem to affect the Ipad channel input.

what does it mean? I am running only the reverb app (AudioReverb) and MF4.

Do you have a signal on the meters on the output of your aux channel? Have you unmuted audioreverb? You should see the signal in audioreverb.

yes I do.

how do I unmute? I hope you did not mean for me to click on the 'Mic' icon on the top left? That would be to pickup sounds from the microphone of the Ipad, right?
No, I don't see the signal in audioverb.
I am missing something here...

Click on the mic icon... very important, otherwise the reverb's muted. The mic is inoperative as long as audioreverb is in touch with master fader.

Thank you very much.
That did the trick.
It works nicely.
One more question.
When I had the Reverb app in the docked Ipad, I operated the DL1608 using a wireless Ipad and all worked well.
But, the moment I switched the app (in the Docked IPad) from AudioVerb to Master Fader, then the signal to the Ipad channel (LR view) stopped.
Is that how I should run (keeping the AUDIOVERB app on top of the docked IPad) or is there something else I need to take care of?

In audioreverb tap on the note (I think it's called a quaver but I am a drummer :)) at the top which opens the playback page. Click on BKGD audio. This, unsurprisingly, lets it work in the background.
