« on: October 15, 2016, 04:03:07 AM »
I am not happy with the upgrade to 4.5.  Can I roll back to 3.5 or whatever the last one was.  i still have it on my ipad.

what is there to not like?

If you have an old iPad I can understand it not being efficient enough.

It's a matter if finance, I can't afford to buy new ipads at this time.  Plus the band is having issues getting their iphones to work on it.  I tired as suggested but it just comes back at me with the error message about a different version being installed.  It doesn't give me the option to change.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Chris

Well lucily I have two DL1608's.  One i use for my band and the other for outside mixing gigs.  The backup unit allowed me to use my MF3.3 so I am all set for now.  I think I should find out how to reformat the the MF 4 one and start over.

If you have an old version on one ipad then u can go back
On the backside there is an force firmware button, check the manuel how to use it
Dont know for shure but if u use itunes u can set the ipad with mf4 back if u have an old backup

I'm going to go back to 3 as well. 4 seems great but the grow and glow cutting out on the faders all the time is really annoying.

when you guys say that your grow and glow faders are cutting out...

do you mean when you try to move a fader,.... as soon as you touch the fader it does indeed grow and glow,
but it immediately goes back to it's normal size and does not stay "glowed" long enough to move it?

Yep that's it. Really annoying. Never happened on MF3.
