Great for female a Capella no subs required. Band most definitely need subs. To do it justice you'd be close to $30K for a system. Then again we could go with another technology currently available from JBL called DDS (Digital Directivity Synthesis) That's only $12K per speaker for the lower end DSX180.
Lot's of solutions out there, but for now I've settled on JBL's CBT (Constant Beam-width Technology). Would certainly like to bypass room eq since most of the time there is no opportunity to do it.
