mf4 file export vs iTunes
« on: January 04, 2017, 12:46:42 AM »
Sorry if it's a dumb question - if so please just shoot me a link to the right thread....

So I recorded a show in MF4 and it sounds great when I open up the recording window and hit play. But I tried selecting the file and ok'd the export button and nothing happens. ???

Furthermore, if I open up iTunes I see my iPad on the left but I don't see the apps button in the bar so I can't export the old way? What the heck am I doing wrong here? I think it's more an issue with iTunes and my own user stupidity. Please enlighten me oh wise and patient forumites....

I just realized you are recording directly to your iPad via a DL1608 so testing on my DL23R won't help since I don't record onto the iPad.
I can't help you with that but,,, as far as where the files are ...

once your iPad is connected to iTunes, click on it's icon at the top of iTunes on the left-hand side, (different than video)
then on the left-hand side a little lower click on Apps, (different than video)
all the way on the right-hand side scroll all the way down as far as you can go,
in the bigger section of the screen you will see "File Sharing"
and under that you will see Master Fader,
click on Master Fader and if you recorded anything it will be listed under "Master Fader Documents",
you can then click on the recording and "Save To"
