Editing recordings from DL32R - which DAW?
« on: February 07, 2020, 05:01:31 PM »
Hey guys, it's been a while since we discussed this, and we've found work-arounds that work well like AudioDemuxer (THANK YOU!).

But, it's 2020.      What DAW are you using that will:

Import a recording from DL32R directly - a series of multitrack wavs from a long recording... And stitch them together automatically, placing track 1-whatever in the right order, and appending the 2nd, 3rd, etc, series so it is one seamless show.

Many of them will open the files and put the tracks directly to the right track, but will not stitch them all together.
Heck, even Audacity does a great job with single multitrack wav files.

I tried Studio One, and it imported the multitrack, but when there were two or more files, it just kept adding those as additional tracks, not appending to the first file's tracks.

And to follow up...  someone using ProTools, or Studio One, please tell me how to import several multitrack wav files from the DL32R directly into a session and have them automatically stitched together...
