minimal recording rig
« on: August 01, 2021, 06:16:47 PM »
Hi Folks,

I do a fair amount of live-tracking of shows.
The DL32R can record tracks directly to an external USB SSD drive, or I have recorded on a laptop.
For the DL16S and DL32S, an external device with recording software is needed.

I've been using the Multi-Track DAW app on an old Iphone-5 or Ipad:

This is a fairly simple app that is pretty fast and easy to set up for tracking.
It also has some additional functionality for use as a DAW.
With the Iphone, an external keyboard is handy for naming tracks.
The Apple USB-3 camera adapter has the needed USB port and a second lightning port for power.

Am guessing there are Android recording apps as well.

What do you use for a minimal recording rig?

Thanks and good health,  Weogo
