Those look pretty nice!

Do you have them on your website anywhere? How about a downloadable manual?

One band I BE for has no lights - How do you think a pair of these in "auto" mode mounted vertically on the speaker poles would work out without any other lighting?

Not on my web site yet but will be soon.  I have a manual in Word Doc that I can email or fax.

Two will do a nice job and be even better with a DMX controller.
Thanks,

I'd like a copy of the manual, Bill when you get time. These may be a better fit for our band than the more expensive 420x fixtures we're looking at for work. (Lighting the RR bridges.)

Slightly OT... apologies for the hijack.

Also for Bill... Do you have any outdoor rated fixtures that would be suitable for outlining our bridges in LEDs? The 420x fixtures you sent us on loan are amazing... but now it's gotten the powers that be all fired up about detailing some of our more interesting trussed railroad bridges in LEDs... ala our Centennial Bridge, albeit on a smaller scale:

Thanks,
Roy

Not quite what I had in mind but it worked :). Below the posting window is "Additional Options" and if you expand it you can "attach" a file like that .doc file you say you have.

Chavet has a video of their similar colorstrip:

Also some videos of the colorstrip on YouTube.

Ranger is correct.  Both Chauvet's Colorstrip and ADJ's Mega Pixel LED have videos.  This is the same fixture with a slightly more robust chasis.

Well I have a couple of the colorstrips. Are they really a pretty close imitation?

Thanks DJ.

My ultimate goal is an Architainment line of diode based luminaries for the industrial, commerical and high end residential markets, but I'm probably too old to get there..

The Zipper is the first fixture I directly imported.  It's been in the field over a year and I've yet to receive a warranty issue.  The next fixture I brought in to test is our 420B series, which features 60 one watt diodes in a RGBAW pixel pattern.  Here's a pic.

Here's what one can do, only 12 watts used.

Here's what two can do, again only 12 watts per side running (fixtures about 70 feet apart.)

This shows the location of one of the fixtures.

It's really starting to get exciting.
