FAQ: Firmware Update Hangs?

You should always force close all apps on the iPad before running Master Fader to update the firmware. If it still hangs you should try this:

Sorry about this. We are already working on this problem but there is an easy fix. Do a force update. Power off the mixer and press and hold the small button on the rear panel by the power connector while you turn it on. After a few seconds insert the iPad and launch master fader 1.4. It will then ask you to update. This will work.

I LOVE THIS PLACE
I just got an Ipad and 1608 the Firmware update has stalled 6 or 7 times..
 I came here found the answer and now...PROGRESS a moving blue line.!!!
 With out that advice and the knawledge about the 'Magic Button" i would have been pissed all night..
