Powered Speaker Recommendation
« on: August 11, 2014, 01:41:27 AM »
The band is ready to move on 4 subs and 2 tops.  I believe that will be adequate for the venues we play based on experience using passive speakers up till now.   How about Turbosound IQ or other equivalent?  I am curious what you guys are using.  I have heard some disappointing reviews on the Mackie SRMs.

Up until recently the definitive system was JBL PRX612M's over PRX618S-XLF's . The latter are actually powerful enough to keep up with the 612's so no need for four. The new replacements for those are of similar output - just non-neo as neo got expensive so JBL phased it out.

Thanks looking at the 712's!
