Thank you forum! Everyone should carry a backup power supply.
Yorgaki1:
Just a quick shout out and thanks to everyone on this forum. I check it pretty much daily although I don't post very often, but thanks to the pin one problem thread, I had purchased a backup power supply and probably would have never thought of carrying an extra one if it wasn't for the advice on that particular thread. Lo and behold on my last gig, and I use this mixer every weekend, I went to fire up the mixer and the power supply was dead. I dropped the power supply on to the floor from about 3 feet right before I plugged it in and don't know if that's what caused the problem. I just ordered two more off of eBay both under $10 for additional backups. My advice to anyone reading this make sure you have at least one backup just in case.

Yes that's good advice, I take a spare lap top psu and try to use laptops of the same brand and range due to this, I think anything that makes you money on the night, if it has a wall wart, bring a spare.

I'd be interested to know which eBay seller you got your power supplies from. Could you post a link?
Thanks!
Keyboard Magic:
A second power supply is a very good idea indeed. I am very paranoid by always taking extra back up stuff to the gig. Mic cables, spare mic, etc. etc. etc. If it's not too much trouble I'd be interested in that link too, regarding power supplies? You never know when something small may just decide to pooch at a critical moment. :-[

The first one has already arrived and Ive run it for a few hours with no problems, although its only rated at 3 amps- http://www.ebay.com/itm/200772780778?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
