Fade on pause app for iOS
« on: October 11, 2014, 03:32:25 PM »
hi guys

Sorry this is not dl related

But this is the question, you have a playlist on your pad, lots of apps that auto pause, or not, fade on pause etc, but I am looking for an app that plays interval music and cross fades it but gives you the option to fade on pause too.. I have downloaded a few freebies, but when you press pause it's instant mute horrible,

For backing tracks I use one track, this has  fade on pause but not cross fade and supports airturn, a big plus,

I don't want a complicated app with wheels and wavs like a dj uses, ,something simple, big buttons, great if it had air turn .

Any suggestions appreciated.

Many thanks

Kev

I believe the one I use (Party Monster) does that.

What a shame, pause length very short, not variable

No transport controls either

Have you guys any other suggestions please

Big buttons and variable  fade out on pause rate please

With relation to another project, I revisited set list maker tonight, well here we are 4 am and I am scratching my head, does anyone here use it regularly,

Cheers

Forget "set list maker" I bought it and found it useless, so bad I actually asked for a refund, the developer was reluctant but iTunes refunded without question. I bought "My Lyric Book", it's a doodle to use and does just what it says on the tin, highly recommended.

I've been using OnSong for charts, but it also allows set lists tied to the charts.  I find it pretty slick.  Agreed on Set List Maker.  Pages is about as good.

Hi guys

I have had mixed feelings over set list maker, but after spending hours sussing it out, I think it's an incredible app, although I have not even got to the midi aspect yet, just the ease in which you can edit lists, import a complete set list in to the end of  another, smart lists, changing the colors of songs so you can swipe to a genre or whatever  just by colour, without having to mess with iTunes too much, love the air turn capabilities, too, this and one track, great apps, with pauser pro a close third, I don't use lyric sheets or chords or anything but can understand why anyone playing guitar would favour an app that's up that street, not sure how many other iOS apps support long sets and midi, is anyone sending program changes to change fx off a pad?

I have drawn a blank with a long pause on fade app so far.

Cheers

Update

Anyone who wants a really versatile playback app that works well for backing tracks and interval music, check out

Pauser pro on IOS,

Up to 20 seconds cross fade or not,

Instant kil on pause

Or up to 20 seconds fade to pause

Cheers
