... I was kinda hoping they wouldn't be able to get their $#!T together. Would have been a nice little validation of our particular brand of Poly-Ticks.

Yes, the parties concerned have got their act together over here, but note that it only happened by the Conservatives agreeing to the Liberal Democrats demand to hold a referendum on changing our voting system. 

Somehow I feel both  :lol: and  :facepalm: are appropriate!

Just found this thread. Isn't it remarkable how fast things change?

Cameron has resigned, Osborne is invisible, Clegg is gone along with the rest of the LibDems,  the Labour Party membership is being led by the most popular leader in years but the parliamentary party are trying to get rid of him. Theresa May is to beat Michael Gove to become Tory leader and we're leaving the EU, which offers the very slim possibility of a reformulation (unification, but don't use that word) of Ireland.

Madness.

Things do change fast. Is there any real opposition to Theresa May at the moment though?
