Soundcraft on the other hand announced a HTML based series mixer Ui12 and Ui16 possibly 24 soon. http://www.soundcraft.com/
This may liven things up a bit.

Appears that Soundcraft rebadged the SMPro U-Mix series and included the to be expected DBX, Lexicon and BSS processing. Though no mention of  Soundcraft mic pre implementation.

Maybe just another Harman acquisition. Seems they're in the buying mood again.
Sure enough here are the details.

That's what they say. Mine's on the shelf at the moment, waiting for the update to fix the pretty much completely nonfunctional WIFI. Ad-hoc only? Are you fucking kidding me?

The update is supposed to implement full networking functionality, including USB-ethernet dongles. We'll see. Then they can start working on everything else that they screwed up. I'm really disappointed. I get that they wanted to start fresh, but they completely ignored over a decade of the stuff other people figured out correctly. It's mostly fixable. I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling from them in the forum, though. "Your DAW can't handle our 32 bit files which all have the same name? Fix it yourself."
As promised Jan. 20 V2.x hopefully fixes all those problems. Time to dust off the Touchmix and hope for the best. :)

I don't think there are the product announcements this year that got us going when the likes of x ( insert whatever number you like) was announced,

Must be great doing big gigs with lots of people and it seems many of the products are still geared for that, , I suppose they might pacify the low count users with a speaker inspired by the toy story franchise, or not.

 :)
