dl32r usb audio out

(1/1)

bradywang:
does any one use the usb hdd recording function of the dl32r.  I was wondering what program you use to edit the audio files

Wynnd:
From what I understand, the DL32R creates an interwoven audio file that needs to be separated into the various parts.  (See references in another thread on this site.)  After disassembly, you can use any DAW you're comfortable with.  I've been using Cubase for some time and would use that.  But you could probably use Garage band if you wanted to.

after a little more RTFM i found this

Most major DAWs import it perfectly. Simply import it into your DAW and it will split it into separate tracks. For example, we’ve imported our masterpieces into Pro Tools flawlessly.
If your DAW doesn’t support it, check out Wave Agent from Sound Devices which easily allows you to convert to and from multichannel .wav files.

garage band is not one of the most it cant handle the wave file.  At least now i can split and import into GB but i will be trying out other programs
