Adjustable fader delay
« on: May 07, 2015, 03:58:13 AM »
New Master Fader request....

Adjustable fader delay like in the Yamaha Stagemix-app.
This is a safety function to avoid accidental fader movements. The value set here is the time needed to wait between touching a fader and being able to move it.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon. To be fair it might be a useful feature and Cornelius you may want to pop over to Mackie Uservoice and register it as an idea for them to include.

I docked my iPad 2 to the DL yesterday for French Café at the school and noted on any Vintage EQ page I could not get any knob to respond smoothly to my touch, either with a stylus or my finger. They were very jerky in movement. I was running the last previous version of MF 3.1 before this latest update.

I suspect it is the old “lag” issue with MF 3.X and the older iPads. I also suspect that this would not have occurred using the iPad Air 2. It was very frustrating to try to adjust EQ on the fly while playing keys at the same time.

Should've used the iPad Air 2 I guess.   There are still times when real physical controls trump virtual ones.

It's in Mackie Uservoice now, but it needs some more votes... ;)
