I would really like to start a thread so we can all share our presets for EQ, Compression, etc for different instruments (at least as a baseline). I spent a lot of time setting that up on my DL1608 and now am doing it again on the XR18. I'm going to share a couple here since we only mic up drum kick and overhead. Although totally unavoidable, I want to minimize the kick and toms bleeding into the overhead mic since they will get picked up from the kick mic. So EQing is key and also some compression so I get the ride, crash symbols and snare in proportion.
