I usually start recording from my iPad on the stage since don't want to have to rely on our tech to set the number of tracks right (wish it would remember I only want to record 21 tracks by default, not 32).
The last few shows I have started the recording on stage, then remember that I didn't stop it after the set. So I take the FOH mixer, and open up MF, and it doesn't show the red recording indicator dot, until I open up the recording section, then it will show it is recording.
Anyone else seen that?
