Song bites
« on: March 18, 2016, 08:27:37 PM »
Hi Folks,

Ok, so I have been happily rolling along with the DL32R recording a bunch of shows,  using 32GB Sandisk USB-3 sticks.

Recently I could not record.
I tried re-formatting the USB drive.  I tried my spare drive.  No love.
Later I re-read the user's manual section on recording.  Yep, I did all that.  Still no love.
So I read the user's manual AGAIN.  And carefully.
OOPS!
Where the default name is  Song  you really do need to name your song.  Songa is fine.  Just not Song.
All is good again.

Hope this helps somebody!

Thanks and good health,  Weogo

that is weird,
I always record to my Mac laptop, I find the multichannel wave file format is a ridiculous hassel to use.
On the other hand, using the internal recording is convenient for playback for soundcheck without the band, but
that has never been of any value to me,,, nothing will sound the same without the stage volume, even if half the band is using in-ear monitoring and no amps.
