The Mackie forums are officially gone forever -

"You will note that the Mackie forums remain down. We are working now to implement a modern knowledge base solution that will replace the Mackie forums."

There are some interesting comments on there towards the bottom.

On Mackie's FaceBook page you can see some pictures of a DL1608 in action. In the right-hand column the second box down is "Recent Posts by Others on Mackie", just click on "See All" :) :
