Happy New Beer? Old Beer, anything at this point.   Got a New Years DJ gig tonight plus playing live for dinner music. All Italian crowd. Accordion should be perfect. The organizer has already asked me to add more tunes to the playlist, 2 hours before I have to load up. Don't drink, but may "load up" anyway.

Thank you Sir for your "spirited" wishes.  ;) HIC!

Yes, yes! Happy New Year, y'all!

I hope you all had as successful a New Years Eve gig as I did with your DL mixer! Or beer! Or both! :)

Gig wasn't too bad. It was actually a 95% older Italian crowd. I had a huge playlist of music, 50s to clean top 40s.  Found out that they really wanted all Italian music and Disco! So it was smart to bring the accordion rig too, for polkas, tangos, latin and waltzes. Ended up playing accordion for about 2.5 hours and the rest was all 70s and 80's disco mp3s. Most of the crowd left after midnight.

The DL worked perfectly as I expected.  :) No beer though, lots of Pepsi to keep me going in that very hot hall.  8) All in all a pretty good gig.  ;)
