Effects on dl32r
« on: August 09, 2016, 05:24:34 AM »
As a dl1608 and Presonus 16.4.2 (qty 2) owner... I'm less than impressed by the rev/delay on the 1608.  Love it's convenience though and I have an OK setting for use with my band.  Definately not good enough for sound company use though... The 16.4.2 effects simply blow th  1608 out of the pond...

Thinking about 32 channels.  I like the Mackie iPad UI way more than SLR. So ... How are the effects on the 32r ?  Is it a large step up from the 1608 ?

The FX on the DL32R are identical to the ones on the DL1608 - only difference is you get a second reverb unit. Many folks are using an external FX unit with their DL32R.

Thanks!

You'd think that after the 806/1608 effects converstions they would have sorted that out...

Well, there is a rumored spotting of something new in that regard:
