FAQ: How Presets Work

The way presets work in not always obvious until you have worked with the DL a bit. So for the un-initiated, presets only store specific things, a channel preset stores all channel specific settings EQ dynamics, but dynamics also have their own presets which can be loaded in place of the channel preset's setting (but load the channel preset first then the dynamics or the channel preset will overwrite the dynamics preset you just loaded.....). FX are not saved in channel presets as they are global. It's complicated but I guess it'll all make sense eventually.

You're right about it being confusing! It caught me out a few times. I'd like it like my Presonus, where it's just easier!

Got used to it and it works well! Maybe like it better than the Presonus now
