DL806 vs 1608 Issues

I know, this is the 1608 forum and I'm probably gonna get a few rolling of eyes but.. I’m just curious to find out, especially from the more technically savvy members here.

Does anyone here know of anyone who has the DL806? And if so, are they having the same issues as some DL1608 owners? I would think that since both versions theoretically share the same components they would also theoretically share the same problems? Maybe? And if the 806 hasn’t had issues, why only the 1608? I know, why would anyone ever buy the 806 instead of popping for the 1608? Well here in Toronto there is a $220.00 difference in price. For some, $220.00 is a big difference.

But just interested to find out if it's a complete DL models problem.

Thank you for the reply. I guess this was an unnecessary topic that I created. Should've done some searching first.  And from your reference, I can conclude that the complete DL platform has intermittent issues. I guess that this topic can really be closed or removed.  I do appreciate your response though.
