Aggregate Audio Device with DL32R
« on: September 19, 2015, 10:58:09 PM »
Has anyone tried to create an Aggregate Audio Device on a Mac, that includes a DL32R (connected via USB)?

I am trying to expand a recording system -- it's currently 16 channels with two (2) MOTU 8pre Firewire units connected to each other via ADAT.

I am hoping it is possible to create a single Aggregate Audio Device to include the MOTUs and the DL32R, but I am concerned about clock synchronization between devices.

Mackie says the DL32R does not have Word Clock in or out.

Any thoughts or ideas from the forum?

Thanks
