For those that need the form factor it's the only 1U 16 input 8 output unit I'm aware of. I almost ordered the prior version called RM16AI but two reasons stopped me. The units are discontinued and recording is via Fire-wire. The Smaart setup is no longer in the new units unfortunately. The discontinued units are still available for an amazing $560 while they last. Presonus is one of the few companies with musicians still in control. Music tribe is the other. Next stop Soundcraft Ui24R for me.
