Master Fader 5 Questions

So I see Master Fader 5 under Developer stuff on the Apple App Store...   Downloaded it, looked it over, see lots of little changes.

My questions are:

Surely, firmware has to be upgraded on the DL32R?

Is it possible to go back to MF4x after upgrading?

Can you load your previous shows as a starting point in MF5?

Where is the list of compatible OS versions for Android and iPad?
I'm wanting to make sure all my band members have compatible devices before switching.

Short answers. 
DL32R and DL1608 and DL804 will be added in version 5.1 expected next year.  (Early I hope.) 
You should be able to go back to MF4x by installing the firmware for that version.  Every major change requires a firmware update.  (No matter what direction you go.)
I'd export the shows you might want to use with any version of Master Fader and then import them into the version you're using.
MF5 requires iOS version 11x or later.  I've got two iPads that can't make the transition.  I don't know about android.  They might have that updated on the website link at the start of my reply.  I'm a DL1608 user from 2013.  We have similar problems.

Master Fader 5 is not yet ready for the DL32R or AXIS DC16.
If you download 5 because you want to try it with the DL32R you could, but the DL32R will need a firmware update and Master Fader will prompt you to that when the first device is connected.
You can go back to 4.6.2 easily because 5 does not replace the Master Fader 4 icon on the iPad. If you try to go back to 4.6.2 you will need to do a firmware reset on the DL32R.
I would suggest just sticking with 4.6.2 and use 5 when it is released and is deemed trustworthy.

I have a spare DL32R I could try it on, have you tried it???   I'm used to not-ready-for-prime-time software because I have helped develop many projects over the year, as alpha/beta tester, and co-developer.

since I am part of Mackie's beta team for Master Fader, it is against the agreement to discuss anything publically that pertains to any unreleased product,
so, I must resepect that agreement.

I believe that Mackie support stated in a recent Facebook comment that MasterFader 4 shows wouldn't be compatible with MF 5. Hope they'll reconsider at some point to at least allow to import MF4 shows.

Sounds like the support staff has yet to be trained or maybe it's trial by fire?     To bad they're not forced to be Beta Testers.

If so that App doesn't exist yet or at least it requires a DLxxS attached for that to happen.
