Hey John
would be great to profit from your experience here. So far, I've used an Apple Airport Extreme (works nicely so far, but it IS end-of-life...) and a couple of Netgear / TP Link consumer Wifi routers on stage. From your experience, what would be a nice and budget-friendly "professional" product (Cisco & co) - even without a directional antenna (not necessary for most of our gig locations) that works better in mobile-congested areas? Needs to act as a DHCP server and WiFi AP - not really necessary to NAT/firewall to the Internet, since we work off-the-grid in all our gigs...
Great if you could share some best (or just decent...) practices here.
Cheers,
Torsten
