I don't suppose, John or Roadranger, that you noticed any issue with the Main fader having significant lag on the faders page, but not if you editing a channel?

I did notice it for a very short period once on my iPad 2 and on my Air 2 while it was connected to the DL wirelessly. But didn't see it again. I guess this is another "tiny" issue along with the Bug report post I created last night.  :(

Did not notice that in playing with it so far, but will keep my eyes open and report back if I do!

Any chance of seeing a video of this laggy main fader, along with more detail on your devices and OS? I'm not seeing it.

Hi Ben,

I haven't been able to reproduce this one. It happened only once in my case. The main fader would not move, until prodded a couple of times, then it jumped to full volume. After that it's worked fine every time.  ???

I was more concerned about my bug report. Sorry  :-[

Okay, I know how to do a screen snapshot, butttt, video?   Is the iPad capable of doing that with built-in features?

I was able to get it to do it just now.    iPad had just come up from being shutdown.  DL1608 turned on before it.     Lagged behind my finger big time...  Then I let off and tried again, and it was fine.
I'm going to shut it all down and try that again. Will report back.

No easy built in video capture, although you can connect to a Mac and use Quicktime. But I usually just use my phone as it shows what you are pressing too.

Well duh... I'm a bit dense there. I didn't think that yes, you need to see my finger moving in relation to the slider! hahahaah   I blame this cold or sinus thing I have going on, I don't think I am normally this dumb. haha

Okay, so I have shut it down (the Mackie and the iPad) and restarted it, exactly the way I did last time and no hesitation.   So, I shut it down, started everything, loaded another show, and it did it, but not nearly as bad, and again, it did it just the first time.   Tried loading another show, and it did not do it.

Shut it all down again, restarted everything, loaded another show, while holding the cell phone in one hand...  and of course, no hesitation.  Tried 2 more times and could not get it to lag again.

I'll keep an eye on it and see if there is a way to duplicate the issue, or maybe it's just the first time a show is loaded, or how fast you load it and then try to adjust the main?

Obviously it only works when you're not trying to video record it. So there's your workaround.

HAHA so true...   For grins, I tried it without videoing it.   Sorry, still didn't work. Wait, it still didn't NOT work =)

I'll keep an eye on it and let you know!

Here you go, video evidence

Mine is repeatable... on both iPads, docked and undocked.

Oh and running the latest iOS version on iPad 2 (both).

And what iPad versions and iOS versions are you using, ijpengelly?
