D8b in the current age, or how the heck do I hookup the mouse?

new to the forum and the Mackie d8b, can't seem to get a mouse to work even with a ps2 to usb adapter. Any helps?

Yeah I found out that the ps2 does not provide the driver for both power and the scroll option you get a light but no button functionality. If it helps anyone I ordered a ps2 old school mouse from Amazon and it works like a charm.... on to my next stupid question
