Updates, Updates, Updates?

Haven't been lurking around the forum much.

Any rumours or hints of any firmware and MF updates in the foreseeable future for the DL series mixers?

Inquiring minds want to know!

There was just one in March:

The one before that was four months before so maybe three times a year still?

Thanks for the info! I did get March update. Ah well, just going to have to be patient. The 1608 is 4 years old and still working just great.

Sorry 'bout that! Not one of my more lucid days! Ugh! 

When it decides to work, it's great. But now, distortion from channel one at a gig, move mic to channel 2 all okay. Yes, done all the prerequisite testing every way possible. Rebooted the unit, reloaded the firmware, etc. etc. Adnauseum. Issues persist inc, not recognizing the iPad at all sometimes still and not charging intermittently. Yada, yada, yada.

No point in getting it repaired. Would cost more to fix it, than to replace it. Can get a brand new one here in Toronto for about $750 plus tax. Is it worth it? Don't know at this point. I do know that MF is still one of the most easiest apps to navigate. Ugh!

Did you try messing about with the ribbon cables?

Might be worth a try. Nothing to lose at this point. I still have my little Zed-i10 for backup. Ah analog!

Time to get out that screwdriver, baggies and don't forget that CR2032 battery. Take Pics. Your effort may help a bunch on the forum with the same problems.
