Behringer stated at musikmesse that the x32 rack "to be on the safe side" should be available in music store in 4 months. Also announced something friken awesome for the x32 line. They are going to have a USB i/o card that will allow for direct recording to a hard drive. No computer necessary. Right now they have 24 channels but think it will handle 32. Also for those of you, you know who you are, who said the front panel will not be able to control everything you are wrong as I said several times. There are several videos that confirm this as well.
